I do personally think you have to be a special kind of bonkers to be able to harbour those kind of feelings in the first place though. Yeah when I moved from Stockwell to Carshalton I couldn't get over how openly racist people were.
When we moved into our house in Carshalton our next door neighbours on both side told us how happy they were that we were not black, as they have had enough of the 'Darkies' moving in and taking over.
Drinking in the local pubs and you would here the same racist mutterings going on.
Unsurprisingly we only live there for about 18months before moving.

I find it funny that every cunt and his dog is suddenly staunch anti-racist and shocked to the core over some (either) pissed up or smacked up (or both) nutter. These very same people are the ones you usually hear saying things like "I'm not racist but..." when they talk about there not being any jobs or houses due to the Pakistanis taking them all.....

The woman is clearly not playing with a full deck & is lacking any sort of social awareness. Anyone who takes the rant of someone as un-hinged as that seriously needs to have a bit of a think. Thank fuck I live in a small town with people from all walks of life where everyone is accepted. In 5 years I've never seen a hint of genuine racial hatred.

Majority object to the content and rightly so.

You pipe in saying how funny it is that everyone has stated their sadness or shame about this woman reacting like this.

Then you imply they're all racist themselves.

You try to defend her by saying she's not all there and we shouldn't take her seriously.

The reason I can't compare her to the guy on the corner yelling at the sky is because 'there's a time and a place for everything' and his location of choice is slightly less detrimental to society as it's easy to keep walking. These people had to stand on the same bus/tram/train. I don't believe I would have been able to stand there and not become counter-confrontational.
