Help Looking for a particular app for windows phone OS ....

Like most of the barcode scanner apps you get around, does an app exist which will scan the total cost of a product (2.50 for example) then add up all other subsequent values to give you a total at the end, using the phones camera. Looking for one for windows phone mango OS preferably ...Ive had a look but cant see anything..

I wasn't aware any of the barcode apps (on iOS at least) scan a price. I understood they just scan the product and find a price online. Barcodes don't hold prices I don't think, otherwise they'd need to be changed on the packaging when prices change in store? I think the prices are probably stored on the store's computers and not in the codes themselves.

sorry i explained it wrong. i should have said, that like the barcode apps, which use the camera to scan a barcode, does an app exist which scans a price and then totals it up, so that when im walking around the store doing a shop, i can simply use the app to take pics of the values to get my total price at the end. i know its a lazy way of simply typing each individual value into the calculator...

What I'm saying is barcodes don't store prices, so how are you going to get a price? When you use these scanners all they do is go online and find several stores and give you a list of prices to compare.

:edit: wait, are you talking about taking a pic of an actual numerical price tag on a shelf?
