I tried using the SSC tool when my PX650 gave me that same message, didn't work for me either. I phoned up a printer specialist and got given another 2 utilities to try,apparently 1 is used in epson repair centres. I'll see if I can find them out for ya in the morning matey

I used this to get a pal out of the mire, for £5.50 it wasn't worth all the messing trying to find something for free. Maybe next time it needs resetting someone will of cracked it ;o)
