Right I have filled in a couple of forms and posted a letter with my address(es) at the time.

Done it for a Loan and a Credit Card. I am not `100% I had them but we will see what happens.
I tried calling the bank but their systems don't go back as far as my claims...

I am not expecting it to be honest or much if it does come through, but we will see.

I just wish I could remember all the cards/loans I had as I am sure I took more than a couple out over the years. I am sure Halifax used to call me every month despite the balance been zero asking me to take it out, telling me it didn't cost if my balance was zero. I never gave in so that one doesn't count.

I am expecting £0, I cannot even be sure if I actually had the insurance looking back. I remember thinking 'That's quite a lot more to take the insurance' but they gave me the hard sell.. Especially Abbey and I was working for them at the time!

I am sure Halifax pestered me too on a card about 8 years ago. I was not even using the card, it was there for 'emergencies'. The deal was you never paid it if your balance was zero.. Do they count?

Alas though I had many loans and cards I realised early on after a good piece of advice that the first PPI I took out covered me for subsequent cards simply by adding them. I never took it on loans, shame as I could do with a Bag of Sand or five!!

Got a letter off Santander yesterday advising they have my complaint etc...
    Just waiting for Barclaycard now.

I am still not 100% certain I took it out.. I think I did so I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I'm stunned. Of the credit cards and loan I had ppi on, I've had a cheque off barclaycard for £68, confirmation from another of £508, and confirmation from the Egg loan for £3300.
Still waiting for Halifax, RBS and Bank of Scotland credit cards.

I remember getting call from Halifax begging me to take it many years ago.. If my Balance was £0 then it would not cost me they kept telling me.
I just can not for the life of me remember if I took it! The balance was always £0 at the end of the month...

Might be worth me whacking one in for that too.

Santander came back today, no PPI on a loan.. BUT I had more than one loan with them.. They have only sent me documentation on one.

Hi, is the form/letter in the first post still relevant? As I'm under 10 posts I can't see the link. Could somebody at least show me where else I could get the letter template from, please? This is to help my aunty, who i'm sure would be due thousands looking at her current statements. Thanks

Yeh, so my final claim is with the FOS. Its for a joint mortgage. I no longer speak, or know where, the ex is. The FOS wouldnt honor the claim though without her signature...shame really, but no worries...thats the end of all that...

Hey guys can i get some advice on my ppi claim?

I got mis sold ppi and Blackhorse have agreed to give it all back to me plus the normal amount of interest , but as i truly did not even know its on the loan i am refusing it in the hope of more.

Should i just settle as its the full amount? (£1,200)

Just sending mine off today. Mortgage with HSBC

    1. Repayment protection on mortgage for 7.5 years . Mis sold because I was working full time in the NHS hence employee benefits

    2. Life insurance, advised to take out life insurance even though I was single and with no dependants. Not sure about this, think there is a case here because if I had left this world they would have just reposessed the house. Thus no need for the life insurance. and also NHS benefits for critical illness cover, lump sum to estate etc

    lets see what happens
