does mx video player work?
Looking to dump my iPad 2 before the prices tank in March, and the Playbook looks like a nice little machine to keep ticking over until the new iPad finally hits European shelves (probably May-June).

Playbook is end of line stock. I wonder if RIM will be releasing another one.

Hey guys been messing about with OS2.0 and its a vast improvement, as stated earlier still no ac3 support tho but makes no odds to me as there plenty of avi and divx out there with mp3 sound.
The native email is very impressive running a gmail, hotmail, facebook, twitter and everything else i can throw at it with ease and all accounts are easily managed all together or individual.
The browser speed is very impressive a lot smoother and rendering is quick as or even quicker than anything else out on the market and very user friendly. Html5 benchmark test even prove this as the only thing to beat it is google chrome desktop.
The introduction of native contacts is good too bringing all the info from peoples facebook and linkedin accounts and anything else you have for them.
Calendar is also good scheduling is simple as you would expect, but also displays anyone your meeting, i know its nothing new but UI is easy and friendly.
The remote app function for BB users is the best of the bunch use your BB phone as a remote for your playbook and with a little tweaking your ps3 and any droid tablets you have lying around...lol
And for anyone looking for a new gadget to play with (GTI) you cant go far wrong mate for a functional tab (At last)...lol

I can't connect to t'internet through bridge browser. I can sometimes get onto t'internet using the pb browser when blackberry bridge is connected, but it's hit and miss
Sent from my BlackBerry Playbook using Tapatalk
Very strange as there should not be a bridge browser on your playbook now, the browser is unified now, meaning the browser will auto detect whether you are using wifi or bridge function, so no need for 2 browser icons.
Try doing a hard reset and then reinstall os2.0 and dont worry you can still sideload kindle etc back on.
Hope this helps mate.

Decided to treat myself to one of these, when 1 came up 2nd hand for £100. Was looking at Kindle Fire or similar, to take on holiday/work with me to save the netbook, and use for general browsing, e-books and media.
Very impressed with it so far - absolute steal at £100, borrowed a friends Galaxy 7" tablet for a few days before, and the Playbook pisses all over it it most respects.
http://goodereader.com/apps/blackber...-apps/?did=177 is a site with ready converted bars and a good tutorial on how to side load.
http://store.playbookapps.info/ is another.
Oh if anyone does try the Good E Reader side load software, ignore the bit about d/l the bars to the playbook, and put them straight to PC instead - seems that hardly anyone can get DDPBinstaller to see apps on Playbook.

Can someone tell me what the score is with these now loading android apps? I'm confused does the new os allow andriod apps or so they still need to be converted and side loaded? What's the best site for info ?
