have just started doing a jtag console I recieved a while ago soldered it all and have just spent over an hour trying to read NAND on XP machine read once then get different error messages de soldered resoldered then eventually used QSB's but still error messages. slightly Peed off so shut down and tested all the points from motherboard to nand plug , everything testing fine so just decided to try laptop win 7, installed drivers and wham read first time no problem. any way what I want to know is have just written Xell to get Key, should I leave as xell or once I get key can i write Xellous and is there any advantage to it. long winded way to ask leave Xell or rewrite with Xellous.

just put your full dump through jtag tool or one of the other tools, now you have you cpu key and flash the image it makes for you it will have xell in the image.

I use 360 multi builder very good tool.

Hiok eventually got my xbox jtagged running dash 13604 installed freestyle dash and everything booting up great, but as I,ve read avatars missing have downloaded system update put on usb stick and wont update just bbots into dash tried both $$systemupdate and $systemupdate but no joy also put this line in dash launch ini "noupdater = true" as read it may need that but still no joy. has anyone any ideas. have read various posts on forums but most just say what I've tried Oh also burned to CD and tried in rear and front usb ports. kinda fed up now.

Weird read my own post not sure what i did but noticed had put true instead of false. so ammended it put ini file onto USB drive along with the update files and it worked coincidence or is this where its supposed to go as just ammended the original one on HDD previously. anyway now have avatars

Same happened to me with the system update on USB. Got it working by changing the folder name to $$ystemupdate

me again fixed Avatars as above so proceeded to install games ripped kinect adventures and worked fine so tried to use iso2god on an NTSC game NCAA football 12 followed a guide and all seemed ok but when i go to the games icon on FSD it is shown but cannot start no warnings just hit the A button and nothing happens. any ideas could just extract iso and up the files but want to use GGOD format no reasonfor this. any help appreciated.

you have to hold RB to play ntsc games afk (Dashlaunch settings)
