Attention Ballotelli and Lescott Man City vs Spurs

Gutted at todays result but very proud how Spurs played, we did not deserve to lose like that, but wanted to know the thoughts of people who watched the game and in particular on these two incidents both which went unpunished by Howard "i dont really know what im doing" Webb

    Balloteli On Parker

    And Lescott on Kaboul

my initial reaction was lescott knew what he was doing and that not changed after seeing it a few more times.

at the risk of sounding like wenger, the Ballotelli incident i didnt see it clearly first time round and thought he was just off balance, having seen it again im in no doubt that the fecker knew exactly what he was doing and hopefully will ge ta lengthy ban for it.

Can only echo whats said here really mate, Balotelli definately instentional stamp, and the lesscott one looks like he actually goes out of his way to dig Kaboul in the head!

There was a nice joke posted on twitter yesterday went something like.... "Howard webb completes transfer from Man Utd to rivals Man City for un-disclosed fee"
Haha see how them blue cunts like a bit of attention now.

looks much worse in slow motion, like everything does!!! watching it at the speed it happened its hard to see how he could have intentionally stamped on him, off balance, already stood on his hand, not looking at the player on the ground, for me a complete accident as he looked for some firm ground with his foot.
hopefully thr FA wont capitulate the the whingers and he will not be getting band.

    Thanks to crazyadi

Ballotelli paused before he hit his penalty kick, im sure I saw someone do this recently and a retake was ordered as pausing/stopping before kicking isnt allowed?

Man city do seem to have developed a ' tough streak ' recently some would call it dirty.

    Lescotts was shocking.

Ballotelli's harder to call, my first thought was that he had deliberatly stamped on him howevre also feel it could be that he was being petulant trying to stamp his leg as his shot had been blocked.

Gutted - but that is how you win matches and leagues... by cheating...

Im suprised that the FA have not done anything about the stamp post match.

It wasn't until it was really slowed down that you could detect a "secondary" motion that made it look like a stamp, so I'm not convinced it was. He was off balance. I think one of they key factors for me is none of the players, not even Parker, made anything of it, so no, I think he was just off balance, stamped his foot down to find solid ground, and accidentally got Parker's face.

Got to say, 10 of the best minutes I've ever witnessed in football. First goal woke me up (really) and then just loved the next 10. Great goal from Bale, hate to say this (especially in the same post I'm defending a Citeh player), but reminded me of Gerrard at his absolute best. Not sure what Ledley was thinking at the end though!

Really hoping to see Bale line up for Team GB in the summer, got my Wembley tickets confirmed to see them :-)

Sorry BBK as a follow red mate, I disagree with that tottly. Clear intentional stamp, he knew it was obvious, that's why he went down. He was on the wrong foot to be finding balance, and a stamp goes down, not outwards.

As BBK said, the Bale goal reminded me of a Gerrard goal, the way he cut across the ball and got that dipping bend.

He's not looking where his head is, so if it is intentional, it's either a great shot or shows good spatial awareness.

I think at the end of the day you get away with some and some you dont, mario was lucky this time, to be 100% honest I think he stamped but also you dont actually see the contact from the second stamp so its hard to say for sure if he did or not. The lescott one is the one that I think was a stonewall sending off, see Kabouls head looked like he'd been punched by mayweather!
