Photos Little lady, guarding her home.

Well, not particularly little, she has a body about ½ inch long, maybe a bit more perhaps, but with her legs the size was well over an inch. She (Tegenaria gigantea) lives underneath a bit of old paving stone covering the limestone chipping stones that make up the drive-space on the front of the house.

I only took five photo's cos the bloody moosus came back with the car so I had to get up off my knees to let her park up!

Anyway, ringflash used, on the Siggy 105, no tubes.

    WDYT?

    Few of anything around m8.

There is still a walnut orb spider around the bird table, but I ain't seen it since last week, but it will still be there. She's the one in the "Blood on her lips" photo, I saw her at the weekend when I was having a mooch, but it was so cold I didn't do any photo's.

Cheers Nikki. They look a lot duller until illuminated by a burst of light and then you get to see the detail and patterns.
