Well, not particularly little, she has a body about ½ inch long, maybe a bit more perhaps, but with her legs the size was well over an inch. She (Tegenaria gigantea) lives underneath a bit of old paving stone covering the limestone chipping stones that make up the drive-space on the front of the house.
I only took five photo's cos the bloody moosus came back with the car so I had to get up off my knees to let her park up!
