I have the photography bug!

Ever since I started seeing some of the amazing pics taken by members on here, Ive been wanting to get better. Now I take my camera everywhere, and often find myself thinking "that would make an awesome shot", when I pass things such as a water tower at night at sunset, or when I see a clear sky i'll say to the missus "going to fiddle around with the camera for a few mins, will be in to watch that film in a while with you". Got a stack of books to read while im away on ship and hopefully it will be nice and calm to experiment with some oil rig shots at sunset...
