Any one suffer from acrochorda otherwise known as skin tags ?

They seem to be genetic as my dad and his dad had them.

Never really noticed them when I was younger but now they appear all over.

On my eyelids, under my arms etc

I chop them off my eyelids with a razor blade.

Otherwise a pair of straight edge nail clippers.

Any one else have them?

yep, skin tags i think is another name and they are mainly caused by friction with shirts etc, i just tie them with cotton and restrict the blood supply if they are big, smaller ones i cut off with scissors.

I have a couple (thanks mother) and I have left them be. Was under the impression they don't stop bleeding and you die if you cut them off...

Think GP's are supposed to freeze them or something?

@DJod lol m8 thats an old wives tale, if you cut off its blood supply it will wither and die, just get some cotton and tie it off very tight at the bottom

I get our lass to tie 'em off, the rapidly go crusty and drop off.

Wow this has worried me for ages even after visiting the docs and she told me not to worry she has them as well but for me it still scares me now i feel a bit better will not cut them off cos still a bit paranoid thanks

I've got a couple but I didn't know they were genetic, I thought it was down to friction that caused them. That said I had one under my arm and while playing rugby it got snagged and pulled off and it bled like a bastard, seriously there was so much blood it looked like i'd been stabbed and I never felt a thing, the ref was a pain in the arse though and even gave a yellow card even though I told him it was nothing and I kept on playing.

I had a few removed a few years ago, doc used a freeze spray. Had to go in three times I think, little bastards turned black and then just fell off.

Just a head up and no video. It dropped of after two days following the DET method.

Absolutely recommend this method of removal
