theres a thread on XDA developers but its a bit crazy at min, depends on diff roms etc, there is a spreadsheet with working and non working examples so might be worth checking that out, personally im just going to wait a week as now you can only use 2 devices on sky go its pretty shite

There's a hacked apk that works on most phones - BUT seems you have to have a stock kernel installed - with stock kernel installed then temporarily hiding the root access using something like Voodoo OTA RootKeeper works without too much hassle.

Still not working on Sensation with ARHD rom though

Just installed the Official ICS 4.0.3 release on my SG2 and thought I'd give SkyGo a go - not rooted, used the Stock Kernel with the XDA SkyGo_test.apk
Upgrading without wiping worked for me and kept all my apps and working perfectly.

Wish I hadnt though. While SkyGo DOES work on the new Official ICS ROM for SG2 (which is officially released in the UK around the 19th BTW)

They say it has an 'adaptive resolution'. 10 minutes of viewing on my HD Amoled screen connected to 30Mb broadband gave a terrible resolution with no way of changing it manually.

I like the idea, but if they do not improve the quality of the feeds, this is going to die on it's arse very quickly.
Anyone else disappointed with the resolution or am I on my own?

I'm on the official XXLPQ and it runs fine over 3g and Wifi. It always starts off a bit blocky but always clears and stays clear, so think it's something your end tbh

Can only get $ky News on my Sensation (using gumbalds 1.5 version of the apk from the AXD forums) as I use a custom rom (ARHD 6.5.1 currently) but the picture is superb - my connection is around 4Mbps - starts blocky but is almost pixel perfect after about 30 secs.
