      Attention international money transfers (UK to China)

      Not sure if anyone can help here but I'm going round in circles looking at websites I dont understand and arguing with the girlfriend at the same time.

      I need to transfer a few grand over from a UK bank account to a Chinese one, does anyone know the cheapest way to do this? doesn't have to be instant, but within a week ideally.

      Western Union is good but their fee is quite high. Looks like the Royal Mail offer a similar service now, they must make their cut on he exchange rate http://www.postoffice.co.uk/finance/...ional-payments
