Does anyone know of a simple way or piece of software to capture the audio from an Iplayer radio show (in Windows 7)? I've googled it but one of the methods I found doesnt work.
Thanks

You can download anything from iPlayer using get_iplayer I got the tip from here on DF and then I also repeated it in last years Glastonbury thread with some tips how to use it. get_iplayer is command line based but it's easy enough to use once you figure out the syntax.
Sorry I can't provide a quick link, I'm at work at the mo using tapatalk. Maybe search for Glastonbury.
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...

Thanks - I will check these out when I get home . I'm usually very wary of all the free solutions which come back on google as they are usually shitty solutions loaded with spyware . I probably should have said does anyone know of a good program that they have used.
Thanks again
Have a look through THIS thread mate, should give you all the info you need.
Alternatively, let me know what the show is and I'll grab it for you.
Like Beans said, Get iPlayer is the don and you can get a local browser based interface for it that's pretty much type seacrh, find and record and it outputs to a folder.

get_iplayer is fantastic. thanks guys
Control Panel > Sounds > Recording Devices > What You Hear (Set as Default)
Then use Sound Recorder or any other audio recording software to record, though it will record ANY sound your PC makes in the same track so other browser windows, music etc will all get mixed together.
Simplest way I have found, take 2 seconds.
Will have a look at that Get iPlayer though, sounds interesting.

Yeah it's v good - it downloaded a radio show I wanted (30 mins long and not available as a podcast - also due to expire tomorrow) in seconds and saved it to my desktop as an mp4.
