got a iphone 3gs just updated to iso5 and now i get no servive when i put a sim in was not jailbroken

Try a restore, see if that fixes it.

I had a similar thing with my old 3GS. Turned it off and on a few times and left it for a few hours and it started working again.

hi now the iphone is stuck in dfu mode with a blank screen help plz will not restore or do any thing

Have you tried plugging back into pc and doing a restore?
edit: ignore, just reread your last post..

Tiny umbrella will allow you to kick it back into normal mode or iReb.
