iPad 3 (new iPad, whatever!) Delivery info. . . .

All week the tracking info at Syncreon has been showing no expected delivery date but the Apple tracking has showed 16th, this morning syncreon has extra info showing that it was picked up on the 13th and is out for delivery today, 15th!! a call to Apple has cleared this up, it is out for delivery to UK MAIL today and will be delivered by them tomorrow, you will need a different tracking number starting 309 (14digits) for this, the assistant gave me this but I'm guessing it will be emailed later, Syncreon is barely usable today so I guess the same has happened to everyone!!

I get the impression that UK Mail are doing them all, just as well as TNT are shite!

I had been trying to use my ref. number with TNT but it was not found. I assumed Apple requested this or they supplied an internal ref rather than a TNT ref.

Think I sold my iPad 2 now so hoping the new one will be here tomorrow!

You can put that 10 digit code that you used on syncron (the one starting with 8) on the ukmail site and it will show your tracking info with expected delivery of tomorrow.

When I entered the number starting with 8 as suggested by belial I got the same result as I did with the 309--- number Apple gave me this morning and the 309----number came up in the results as a consignment number.

Mine has left the syncreon today and has gone to Birmingham. I guess it will leave there this evening or tomorrow ready for arrival later on.

Where did the syncreon tracking come from? I seem to remember seeing it once but can't remember how now!

just search syncreon, it's not happening this morning though I guess because everyone is responding to the changes, phone Apple and ask who is delivering and the tracking number, took me a couple of minutes.

When entering the 8* reference number from my apple order on the ukmail site, you have to make sure you put it in the "Reference number" not "consignment number" field, that's what worked for me anyway, ukmail showing it as collected. Shame i'm not home now until Monday to play with it

Called them and they confirmed it is on for tomorrow. Mine will be shipping via. TNT, they gave me a tracking number which is different from any on my Apple account and advised that it wouldn't show anything on tracking until tonight at the earliest.

Sounds like TNT couldn't handle it all so UK Mail has been drafted in to fulfill some orders, I assume if others got the UK Mail error like me then they will have TNT deliver. Now to hope that the courier arrives at 7:30AM like he normally does in the rare instances I use TNT!

I've got 1 arriving by TNT and one arriving by UKMail, no idea why they split them up, but one is 32gb and one is 16gb. I'm not going to be home anyway so will have to wait until Monday now anyway.

I've had loads of apple kit, but never on release day. It's very sad but I feel a bit like a kid at Christmas...iPad eve!

I was more excited for the iPhone 4 but must admit am a bit excited for tomorrow. Might be the fact I have the day off so will be catching up on some off-site work in my office whilst drinking energy drink, watching TV and patiently waiting for TNT.
