    Info Muamba collapse's

Tottenham's FA Cup quarter-final against Bolton has been abandoned after Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba suddenly collapsed and had to be carried off on a stretcher.
With the game locked at 1-1, Muamba collapsed near the halfway line and play was suspended after 41 minutes.
Amid worrying scenes, six paramedics raced across the pitch and appeared to try to resuscitate the former England Under-21 international.
Referee Howard Webb made the decision to cancel the game after the incident.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle also joined the paramedics as they tended to Muamba and players from both sides looked visibly upset as the midfielder received treatment.
Muamba, 23, was carried off on a stretcher after receiving six minutes of treatment.
He was wearing an oxygen mask and was flanked by a number of paramedics and Bolton medical staff as he left the pitch. The player was then taken to hospital.
Commentating on ESPN, John Barnes said: "From the players' reaction on both sides it seemed that things were pretty serious."
Kevin Keegan added: "Jermain Defoe seemed absolutely distraught.
"The fans are in a state of shock. I've never seen anything like that on a football pitch before.
"Our hearts go out to his family."

Yeah very upsetting watching that, I hope he pulls through.

CPR still in the ambulance means he's not breathing, doesn't look good.

The presenters on sky sports news look like they know what has happened but cannot say. Keep saying they are waiting for 'official' news.

Was watching the match as it happened and I must say although in some ways ESPN handled it well in others they were abysmal, Jon Champion telling a harrowing story about watching another footballer collapse on the pitch and die and talking like Muamba was already dead.

Good luck to the lad hope he pulls through.

From whats been said on tv he isn't stable - he is critical and the stable story was mis-reported.

I also read some forum posts from people who were apparently at the game and they said when he was taken away in the ambulance after 30mins or so that he still wasn't breathing.

There is also rumours the "critical" status is that he is on life support and still not breathing for himself, but of course these are just rumours at this point.

Also they don't show a replay of the incident on ESPN out of respect, yet the let Jon Champion talk bollocks like the cunt is reading an obituary.

I feel sorry for his family / friends that may have been watching on tv with the rest of us and had to listen to that and he should be suspended for a while the insensitive prick!

Very sad and puts things in perspective.
