Is Sharm lively at the moment?

It's that time of the year again when it comes to planning a holiday that I usually never get to go on. This year should go ahead as we have lowered our expectations and are looking at egypt, turkey, greece, spain etc.

We are looking for a lively party atmosphere with stuff to do in the days.

Sharm looks brilliant and it has a Space, Pacha etc. but I have heard it's pretty dead atm as travelers worry about the conflict in surrounding areas. As I understand Sharm is very far away from the conflicts. Does anyone know if this is the case? I would hate to end up in a party area without many people!

Can anyone recommend somewhere? I want to avoid Ibiza and Napa if possible.

Waterparks would be good, near the sea, boat trips etc.

After further research it looks like sharm is pretty dead atm and expensive to boot. Anyone have any other suggestions for a lads holiday? We will probably look at Bodrum, Malia, Kos etc.

Sharm isn't a night clubbing place, I found this out last year.

Still a good place to visit but for night life this place definitely wouldn't be in the top 10.

Thanks for that, pacha and space made it look like a lighter version of Ibiza but obviously not. I have been to alicante pacha a few times, once it was rammed but other times it was empty. Strange how the things go sometimes.
