That's new, they are using dynamic dns to point your activation to another kms server by the looks of it. I rather bios mod but this doesn't risk bricking a mobo.

Just to clarify before people start piping up about using loaders and stuff.

Win 7 Enterprise doesn't use certificates. It will ONLY activate via a KMS server. Loaders which spoof certificates do NOT work with Win 7 Enterprise.

This method will use a phony KMS server to activate Windows 7 Enterprise.

I would stay away from these if possible, my understanding is that stuff licensed using a kms needs to contact the kms at least once every 90 days - if these people ever decide to take their servers down?

I thought it was a one off check, unless an update maybe causes a trigger to re-activate?

    KMS Activation Renewal

KMS activations are valid for 180 days—the activation validity interval. To remain activated, KMS client computers must renew their activation by connecting to the KMS host at least once every 180 days. By default, KMS client computers attempt to renew their activation every seven days. If KMS activation fails , the client will retry every two hours. After a client computer’s activation is renewed, the activation validity interval begins again.

Carl is correct about the KMS activation method, but most newsgroup releases have the activation turned off by default.
Yeah the servers could go down, but they have been up now for nearly 2 years, and you can also use the offline method to activate by Localhost.

See post 64 in the thread

    https://rapidshare.com/files/3017739241/kmsem.rar

Copy the folder named "kmsem" to "C:\Windows".

Run command prompt as admin and enter following command to install KMS as a service:
    C:\Windows\System32> (default)
    cd..
    cd kmsem
winserv install KMService -displayname KMService -description "Software Licensing Service" -start auto "C:\Windows\kmsem\KMService.exe"
    winserv start KMService

Run command prompt as admin and enter following command to uninstall KMS as a service:
    C:\Windows\System32> (default)
    cd..
    cd kmsem
    winserv stop KMService
    winserv uninstall KMService

Run command prompt as admin and enter following command to install the KMS-Client-Setup-Key:
    cscript slmgr.vbs -ipk FJ82H-XT6CR-J8D7P-XQJJ2-GPDD4

Enter following command to set your own computer (LocalHost) as KMS-Server:
    cscript slmgr.vbs -skms 127.0.0.1

KMS-Server is now set! To activate:
    cscript slmgr.vbs -ato

Windows 7 Professional with SP1 is now activated for 180 days,
    which will renew each week!

To see the detailed license view, enter the following:
    cscript slmgr.vbs -dlv

Windows 7 Professional with SP1 activated via LocalHost

    Thanks to Geezah
