    Help Three All You Can Eat Fair Usage?

    I've just swapped my £35 a month contract to a much more reasonable £15 a month with all I can eat data on 3.

    Does anyone know if there is a fair use policy because in a month I could eat a lot
    I've already done nearly 3gb and I'm only a week in. I'm not tethering, all that data is on the phone.

    On another note does anyone know how strict they are with tethering? They told me I wasn't allowed to tether on my tariff and would need the One plan. Surely one or two times a month wouldn't hurt?

    I'm on three and I'm pretty sure its a 1gb fair usage on my contract. I thought they all were the same, but could have changed I've been on it over 1yr now.

    I'm on the PAYG £15 rolling 1 month contract which includes the All-You-Can-Eat Data plan.

    Best plan I have ever had - Unlimited Texts/300 Minutes any Network, with no ties!
    I've rinsed the crap out of it the last 3 months (at least 10GB per month) and have not had a bitching phone call yet.

    Think it means just that.

    @BBshark
    No a few films, roms for the phone and general usage.

    @dejavu
    I was thinking about mobile nzb client. Now I know Three are happy to let me use 45GB in a month I'm happy to oblige. That's crazy. That amount of data on Vodafone would have cost me an extra £220 on top of my £35 a month contract.

    @Liam Green – Yep with our One Plan there are no limits in place as to how much data you can use :-)

    Liam Green on April 3, 2012
    Hay. So you where able to use 40GB+ and 3 where ok with that?

    When the one plan came out I asked on their blog whether tethering was allowed under the uncapped data and they replied it was fine. However if you intend on doing a lot I would suggest you confim yourself this though.

    I've just signed up for the one plan with my new phone and tethering is blocked for me. Data is unlimited on the phone but they know when I tether and block it. They tried to sell me the next package up which allows tethering but that would put me on a 24 month and not a 12 month contract.

    From my understanding tethering is allowed on the one plan only, both this and all you can eat are unlimited but no tethering on all you can eat

    From their Twitter feed

    ThreeUK ‏ @ThreeUK

    @evanlugh You can only tether if you're on The One Plan, the One Month rolling SIM or if you purchase the Internet Max Add on.

    I'm on the one plan, they actually offered it to me before they launched it in 2010. It's properly unlimited data. I've been past 10GB in a month without trying a few times, especially nowadays watching stuff on netflix.

    As mentioned above the one plan is all you can eat mobile data plus tethering.

    They also do payg plans and other plans with ayce mobile data alone.

    Got my first iphone 4 yesterday moving over from Andoid and done 500MB streaming Soundcloud stuff today while out in the van driving around suffolk and essex, I find coverage on 3 is pretty good, there are dead spots as with any network but the internet is nice and quick, I was speed testing at 6MB today

    Signal on Three has come on leaps and bounds over the last few years.

    I remember my first contract being diabolical, but these days it never skips a beat.
    Full signal almost everywhere with a faster connection to the internet than my home phone.

    Having a mobile mast at the end of my street probably helps.
