No Be Fibre till 2013, what to do?

Well I called them today and they said because installation is Monday I have to wait for it to be installed before I cancel. I said surely it would save everyone time if the engineer doesn't come out to install a line that's just going to be cancelled but there was nothing they could do to cancel it.
Do they think that when it's installed I'll think sod it and just keep it? I get the I pressing they definitely won't match bt's price so may end up just going with bt.

The issues with Be are because they are upgrading their core and it's taking a lot longer than expected and I think there have been other problems caused by it. I still get excellent speeds but every so often it spazzes out and my speeds get a bit dodgy or connectivity drops but in general it's fine. Can't get FTTH or FTTC where I live so I'm sticking with Be.

My sky went live yesterday, currently hovering aroung 20Mb but they said it will take upto 10 days to get max speed.

Sky advised that they would be rolling out the pro to all customers in the next few months, I may just stay with sky rather than change to BT, plus its a year contract as opposed to BT 18 months, and there will probably be a lot more choice this time text year.
