Photos A couple of shots from my One X

I'm finally getting to grips with the camera on this phone and managed to get a few shots that i'm happy with this week. I'm liking the cat one the most.

The suspension bridge in Bristol last week.

A cool cat that plays in our garden.

A large crop on this one from the park at the weekend.

The bridge is off the phone but a slight crop to get rid of the road. The other two are from Instagram so fairly heavily edited. Both cropped and tweaked. Can post originals if anyone's interested.

I'd be interested in the originals because to be honest, my Sensation pisses all over the quality of those, sorry.

Lol I'll post them when I'm on my PC. I uploaded to flickr from my phone and maybe the quality got lost. Plus Instagram doesn't help with the quality. Or they could just be shit. The biggest issue I've got with the camera is stuff blurs all the time.

Originals from my dropbox. (on a side note I like how all my pics auto upload to dropbox.)

I think they were 1024 x whatever. I'll try and redo the cat one using the HTC software to crop and tweak as that retains the quality. Instagram reduces it loads.

How does it compare to the sensation? I still feel a little let down after they hyped the camera up so much.

I'm always amazed at the quality from the Sensation, now with ics it's even better. I took about 20 seconds to pan around and a further 5-10 seconds processing time to produce a really good panorama. Phones are all surprisingly good but then I take a picture with one of my DSLRS and reality sets in!

I tried a pano of the suspension bridge and it made it look like something out of dukes of hazards! I need to try again with something else that's easier to stitch. Yours looks well.

If it's running ICS it's just the included app, keeps you level and at the right speed while panning then stitches in a flash, is that what you use? I guess architecture is always going to be difficult, the clean lines of the bridge will challenge it. . . .

On a side note, though I love HTC phones the Sensation will be my last, the included ram in every model is always inadequate, the Sensation was fine until the upgrade to ICS (which I like plenty) I am now getting the old memory problems again and will be forced to tinker!
Talk about spoiling the ship for an 'aporth of tar, they really need to learn!

I dis use the standard camera app but it's been sensed up so I'm not sure if it's the same as standard ICS, certainly looks different to my Transformer camera app. To be fair I was shooting up at the bridge so it was tricky to get a straight line.

It'll be the same as the one on my Sensation, the ICS app rather than a Sense app. The One x has a dedicated imaging chip so maybe you just need some more time with it. For Panoramas try some simple shots but it should work well, I'm surprised it only has one led but presumably it needs less light with that lens.
