    Help Sickbeard and NZBs.org?

    Hi Guys,

need a bit of help - i normally used Sabdnzb and an RSS feed from nzbs.org to get files i require, however i have just purchased a readynas, and would like to setup sickbeard. I have installed sabdnzb on the readynas, and also sickbeard. did this yesterday, and tried to configure sick beard , but kept getting API errors fron nzb.org - something about authentication. I think it has something to do with them moving to a beta site, but am not too sure. Has anyone had this issue?

Sickbeard searches nzbs.org (check your API as they have all changed recently).
In Sickbeard make sure you disable the NZBs.org.old version in providers.

If it finds a hit, it sends the NZB to SabNZBd. (Check your SabNZbd API is in Sickbeard).

SabNZBd then lets Sickbeard know when a download has been completed
(Check your %sickbeardfolder%/autoProcessTV/autoProcessTV.cfg file exists and contains the correct info).

Sickbeard then scans the download folder for any files it requires and moves/renames then into the correct place.
It then also generates NFO files once the release has been verified.

I'm in the middle of writing a complete guide to setting up CP/SB/HP/SabNZBd, but it's taking a lot longer than I first thought.
I'm trying to make it as simple as possible, but it does seem to be getting quite involved. I'm explaining what all settings do which is probably why.

Thanks very much D, but i think i am stuck at step 1. I have ticked the nzbs.org box in the search providers screen, and then put in my username, and API. Got the api key from the website direct. I can't see a nzbs.org.old - only a nzbs.org. Im installed this on my Nas (v 0.493.1). there is a section at the bottom about newsnab - im not sure what that is, and have left it blank, but have read something about nzbs.org moving to newsnab?

Are you using the Windows version of SB (or a prebuilt ReadyNas verison)
There is a strong possibility the Windows version has not been compiled yet.

Here's my screenshot of the GitHub Master version of sickbeard (the most up-to-date)
    Capture.JPG

The new version of NZBs.org only needs the API. No Username or UID.
They HAVE moved to a newer, more advanced version of NewzNab. Similar to that used at NZB.su

im using the prebuilt version downloaded from the readynas site - your screen shot looks identical to mine, and it the next section i have added user name and api key (there are 2 boxes, UID, and API). I will try to remove my username one when im at home tonight to see if that makes any difference.

I also have newzbin which i pay for, but plan to stop paying for that when my subs run out. I put in my newzbin details and but not a lot else happened. I added a show, and all the episodes were marked as skipped. I changed the last one to wanted and then i saw them go into sabdnzb but they failed with the authenication error. The logs say it was an issue with nzbs.org. I tried removing nzbs.org and changing the status to wanted again, but it didnt fire anything off in sabdnzb.

NZBmatrix or NZBsRus. You may have to pay a one off fee though.

Instead of clicking "Wanted" to get it to search again. Click the magnifying glass on the right hand side of the episode. That will make it search.

    Thanks to Geko

Invites are closed at the moment til the site is ready.
Mind you, I've never had an invite. I think you need to wait til they open the registrations again, which doesnt happen very often at all.

On my readynas I have sickbeard, Sab and couchpotato. I use NZBmatrix and nzbsrus which works fine but the shows often fail when going to Sab, I think a Sab update would cure this but i am waiting for the current beta to be added to readynasextras.

I would sign up for the two sites I mentioned, well worth it and neither charge a monthly fee after sign up.

May-15 16:24:42 ERROR SEARCHQUEUE-MANUAL-SEARCH :: No NZB/Torrent providers found or enabled in the sickbeard config. Please check your settings.
May-15 16:24:42 ERROR SEARCHQUEUE-MANUAL-SEARCH :: Authentication error: NZBs.org authentication details are empty, check your config

Its very strange as mine doesn't have the uid as a field to input for that site, just the api key. Did you use the bin file I sent over or the ones you got yourself?

Im certain this a sickbeard version fault. There's been a lot of changes with this issue lately and pre-built versions may not have updated yet. And wont til all the updates are final.

Just checking but in the box asking for a UID have you selected NZBs.org from the drop down list or is NZBs'R'US selected? nzbsrus is the only provider which requests a UID for me.

Have you forced a manual version check to see if sickbeard needs updating? Have you unticked NZBs.org from the provider priorities?

Last thing, this was something which caught me out on Couchpotato, try ticking NZBs.org again, selecting it from the dropdown box, deleting any data you have put in, then untick again and save.

    Thanks to evilsatan

Where did you get the sickbeard installer from? I can send you the package I bought from readynasextras if you want, it is well out of date but the internal updater will take care of that. It is x86 though so if you are running a SPARC based readynas then it will not work.
