United seal Hazard deal

Eden Hazard will become United's first signing of summer 2012 after the Reds successfully negotiated a transfer with Lille.A club statement published on Sunday reads as follows:"Manchester United is delighted to announce it has signed an agreement with Lille for the transfer of Eden Hazard."The deal will be completed once the player returns from international duty."More to follow.

LOL who knows. Well, apart from the old "friend of a friend who works for Sky" who is insisting he has signed for United in a 4yr deal worth �140k a week. Its all fun and games, I think he is coming to England, and I can see an attraction in all 3 clubs:

1; Chelsea - two young Belgian players already, Champions League winners, endless cash, London
2; City - Vincent Kompany, endless cash, league winners
3; United - virtually guaranteed to play every week, gets to work with best man manager in history, enormous history of club

All three are attractive options. I hope my "friend of a friend" is right with this, but I've seen enough "in the know" shit over the last few years to know that generally its bullshit

Using a bit of logic here..... Would you want to sign for Chelsea when you see what has happened to 2 of your international team mates?

Lukaku and De Bruyne don't seem to be getting a lot of game time. I know the latter is on loan, but I bet he doesn't get on the pitch often when he is back...

I doubt he will sign for Chelsea, for the above reasons, its city or utd
Personally I think its done and has been done for a while a the press recently is agents trying for more cash, I suspect he will he in blue next season

Good point, down to 2! Still think City HAVE to be favourites, but surely this means they would have to sell?

Tevez, dzeko, Johnson all heading for the door a real possibility but yes I agree if city sign him they must letting players go who though is a guess, spurs and Liverpool will.no doubt be sniffing around for players on the cheap though, shame king Benny and comoli have gone could gave got 30 million for Johnson

You realise Hazards only been at one senior club since 2007, that's some mercenary that mind. I reckon he might actually go to Chelsea just because he's unlikely to get consistent first team football at Man City, plus I've heard they've offered him a substantial amount more than both Man City and Man U (Around �220,000 a year).

I think at Chelsea and City he would be used as the wide man that he is, however at utd we have Valencia and unfortunately Nani so that would possibly make fergie groom him into a central attacking midfielder AKA Ronaldo, we all saw how that turned out. Also he'll get a lot more pitch time at Utd so I wouldnt say its a forgone conclusion that hes going to City, if the lads got any sense the united move is a more sensible one for him, if hes a merc then he'll go city, the unsettled management situation at Chelsea has to be a worry for him?

From what I can tell he plays as a winger or behind the striker, I think utd have more pressing issues to address, I'm sure taggart won't want to be seen to lose out on another player but it is time to sell season tickets they will keep themselves linked aslong as possible, they have done this a lot recently think the term is doing a Tottenham.
Hazard could well be united bound I'm not convinced just yet though, silva balotelli nasri and Yaya were all going to utd according to the rumour mill.
Think the termoil at Chelsea rules the out and the fees are too rich for any other pl teams.
