Well, after a day of playing round with the phone i find myself missing htc sense. I also cant get used to the size when on a call. Im missing my trusty old desire. I may be sending it back and going for the htc one...

Id be careful with the HTC's at the moment mate. I know a few people in work who got the HTC One X, 1 of them is on his 4th replacement, the other is on his 3rd.

they have problems with signal suddently being lost and not coming back, phones shut themselves down and wont come back on and just general "weird" issues.

I'm happy on stock at the moment with an updated kernel (Siyah) and the holo launcher. Gives me great battery life. There are cyangoenmod nightlies out, but no RCs. So I am happy waiting.


This is what mine looks like... Or a couple of screens anyway. I like it as simple as possible. I am thinking about changing from 4 rows to 8 rows though.

Not stock.

It's just digital clock widgets.

It's Holo. You can customise a lot, up to 12 icons I think. I like it because it has standard ICS Icons.

Finally got mine today. I love the way logging into Google replaces all my Apps and Numbers saves soooo much time.

Had a little play this afternoon and stumbled on 'S Voice' Samsung's answer to Siri and have to say, it's pretty good.
Going to have a proper look round before I go rooting and losing everything Samsung's put on just incase their additions are any good.

Love the feel of the phone, feels much more sleek than the S2 and the camera is remarkable!

So far, I've not got a bad word to say against it.

Google are working on a voice assistant. I imagine that will beat both Apple's and Samsung's offerings.

How do you get apps to install directly to sd please?

But.... With 16GB standard, I don't know why you would need to.

Why does it keep asking me to install flash player when i try to play iplayer? I already have flash installed. What gives?

On some browsers you have to turn plug ins on. Some have options for off, on demand or always on. Check in the browser settings

Im using chrome. I can't see an option to turn plugins on

Chrome doesn't play flash. You'll need a second browser for that. My favorite is currently dolphin hd

Yes mate. Flash is set to always on. I'm on the Omega ROM if that makes difference

I'm in two minds about it. I currently have an iPhone 4 and my contract is now due for renewal, do I wait for the iPhone 5, wait to see what happens with WP8 or go for the GS3. Has anyone moved from the iPhone 4 to android and if so how did you find it?
