Strage lIteon problem

Hopefully someone has experienced this and found the solution but has got me stummped

Basically was given a console and told that it turns off

tried it and all all was working ok but after about 10 minutes the console semi turns off and has the centre light flashing constantly

so after messing around for a bit i noticed that the drive wouldn't eject so this would be the problem so changed the sata lead and the power leads for the drive turn it on but centre light is still flashing and drive not responding

took drive apart and tried to dump firmware to get key and put that into another drive JF wont see the drive at all

left it for a couple of hours as went out tried drive in 360 and powered on fine ran for 10 minutes and cut out again

Left it for a couple more hours plugged drive into pc and drive ejects and attempts to read disc but JF still wont see drive

I could RGH this console and get the key and put that into another drive which i may have to do but thought i'd ask here first and see if there is an easier option

Drive has never been flashed before or console even been opened

The drive is the turning off problem, had the same with an older sammy i think it was, but just got the drive dump and put on a new drive, worst case send it to tj to get the info from the drive

Just pulled out my old probe 2 cut and soldered everything in place just cant get status 0x72 keeps flicking between 0x51 and 0x80

may just give up and rgh2 it

Have got it all wired up and now trying to glitch at the moment but it's being a right arse in glitching 512 jasper and rgh2

Try the drive half open, had one last week on a really old ixtreme fw and it refused to play ball, tried this and got 0x72 on first attempt

yo need a probe 3 for the litons, then you dont need to hack and slash the drive and is much easyier, pritty sure a probe 2 wont work unless you modify it to act as a prob 3 or just get a probe 3, as i also came across the prob where i couldnt dump keys and opted for a P3 rather than hacking my P2 also make sure your using the latest version of jf
