R36 Beta Trial has made no difference, loads of people still having issues who got accepted for the trial including me.

Not wise mate going wireless for online gaming, wired connection is your best option.

Exactly my point, this is a long established forum full of people who DO care, your choice mate, if you think you contribute MORE than just moaning about one narrow subject then stick around you'll be welcome, if you really don't care, leave. I happen to agree with most of your points about this one subject, it might be interesting to hear about other areas covered here.

I cant welcome anyone to Digital Forums with a DUMB name like that. Makes you look a CNUT. You did not even post an intro either. When you get time in your busy schedule I would post one about yourself and not simply to slagg off virg1n and their "crappy" warez

I also have the Vm/Shub and agreed its shite , also i think they should send out a modem alone and leave the router to the customer to sort but they can't due to the competition, Virmin are well aware that they have a problem otherwise the R36 Beta trial would not have existed and also already explained is the DD-WRT option

But i do think you have joined DF to round up some troops to support your rant and were not here for that matey , If you put the same amount of effort into you intro as you have into this thread im sure ppl would help , but if you cant read the rules why should we/i give a toss either ?

And if your welcomed "you'd stick around " tbh it was'nt the politest knock on the door was it ???...b3

ok so im now getting the wireless dropping frequently or just the net not working even tho it says connected, then limited or no connectivity - it used to happen occasionally but these last few days its been getting steadily worse, might drop it down to modem only and buy another router!

Default Virgin Media 'Super Hub' - WTF

Just following up on this. Are people opting for new 'n' wireless routers and putting the hub in modem mode? I've had a call from someone with this exact problem.

Is this solving the problem or has the beta firmware gone official, has it helped?

    Cheers

I ended getting the Asus Dark Knight router and not once have I had any issues with my 100mb connection.

Before that I'd be lucky if I was getting 50mb.

    Thanks to H4ss4n
