    Hello All ,

    So advice needed please

    Does anyone know If it would be possible to utilise the above G5 system and may replace the Mobo etc so I can update this to an Intel Based MAC ?

    He are some specs of the current system :-

    Build Year: - This unit was built in 2004.

    Any help from the Mac Guru's in da house would be greatly appreciated

    to the best of my knowledge, you aren't going to be able to intel-ise that mac. It's quite some machine mind you and still worth a fair lump of money (well they were the last time I sold one). If you can't live without intel, get it sold and put the money towards a mac mini or something along those lines.

    Cheers for the info , what you think the system is worth ? I have upgraded the RAM it's got 2GB init and 500gb Harddrive ..

    I sold mine for £300 4gb ram 1tb hdd power pc 2.5ghz


    J-Tag 360 RGH 360, PS3 Super Slim, Xbox 360 Slim, WDTV Live with CFW, Vu+ Solo 2, Dreambox 500HD Connected to 1M Motorised Dish.
