    Well....

    I am very impressed.
I re did my ATV last night updating to latest OS.
    NiTO TV installed fine.
    ATV installed great
then tried the netflix and that works as well.
used unblockUS and all is hunky dory, had to do the DNS change on my imac as wel which must let their systems know that you have an account.

    thanks all.
the boy is well pleased.... :-)

    To access US NetFlix content change your device DNS to;

    Primary: 149.154.158.186
    Secondary: 199.167.30.144

Reboot device, access NetFlix US store!

    Thanks to Spennyboy

Netflix is a standard feature of apple tv.. No jailbreak required and nothing to do with xbmc.

That works a treat, thanks! Also, looks like the hulu plugin works using this workaround!!

lol same here, I've got an xbmd'd atv2 and its great, I pre-ordered an atv3 thinking xbmc with 1080p will be a great addition, its sat beside a telly in the bedroom, we use it for watching the odd youtube video and for watching netflix on a night

Not for XBMC which is a shame (and its looking unlikely to happen anytime soon now)

But you can certainly use Netflix with the USA settings no problems which is pretty decent - Spennyboys settings he posted above work a treat and will save u having to pay for unblock-us

    Thanks to MoNkFiSh

Hi guys currently trying to sort my ATV2 out and kinda stuck.
at this point, 1 So you need to connect via WinScp to install Nito TV first.
2 To do this, go into the ATV on the TV and Settings - General - About and make note of the IP address.
3 With the ATV2 on, go to WinSCP and enter the IP in the HOST Name.
    4. Username is "root" and password is "alpine"
    5. Hit OK/Enter.
    6. WinSCP will then search for the device on your network, and you may have to press Yes to any Pop Ups etc
    7. You should then be able to see a screen which shows your PC on one side, and the ATV2 on the other side.
    8. Once you're in the ATV you need to run a CMD, click the command box on Winscp at the top toolbar (it's in black)

it seems to connect but then says access denied.. and requests the password i have used apline but its not playing ball

sorted had to set to xp comp and run as admin
