    Default help editing an image

I have a photo of a sign writen van and the guy wants me to remove the sign writing without touching the actual van so he can list it for sale.

I don't have a clue where to start I could just use the eraser tool but thats a bit amatureish and would give away the fact its an APC courier van. so how would you go about doing it?

The signwriting is like this one

no problem sending the image over to you if you want to do it just tell me how you did it as well so I can learn.

Ping me the original and I'll give it a go. Should be pretty simple.

I can make a video as I do it if you like. Will probably make lots of mistakes and stuff in the process, but should give you the gist.

Had a quick 5 minute go at the low res image in your post, obviously it will be much better and easier with a higher res one.

With the eyedropper tool i sample the colour of the van nearest to whatever i want to remove, make a selection of the bit i want to remove, and then just paint over it, then mess around with selective colour in photoshop, in this photo it was the white channel i adjusted.

Found some time to have a go LJ.
Will email you the results. Let me know what you think.

Also a video for some of the procedure in Flash format coming too.
It's about 15 minutes long, but the whole process took about 2.5 hours, so did not record it all - it's 115Mb Flash Video and I'm hosting on Dropbox at the moment.

    Thanks to DejaVu
