WMV to DVD converter?

anyone know of a decent free converter to use? i've tried several 'free' ones but they all insist on putting a shitty watermark on the video unless i pay a silly amount of money, which i obviously wont be doing!

convertxtodvd not free but it you can get a working version from loads of different sources
