    Default Sky Go on-demand comes to Android users

    From Sky...

    Sky customers with compatible Android smartphones can now enjoy their favourite shows and movies on-demand through Sky Go. A selection of Entertainment content from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and Sky Arts 1 is now available on-demand to both Android and Apple users.

    been available on android for a while now, no use to me though as Sky stop rooted devices from using it. Wankers.

    Download voodoo ota rootkeeper from the marketplace. This allows you to temp unroot your device for times when watching SKY Go. This only works for fully rooted phones !

    Still not available legit on Android ICS.

    Poor show from Sky in my opinion. Rules out pretty much every phone released over the past year. Point!?
    It was out-of-date before they released it!

    Oh and forget Tablets.

    XDA-Dev's have had a go at it, but it's seriously hit or miss.

    agree complete bollocks for alot of andriod users ! sky are pushing new technologies yet sky think were all dumb as fuck and using old OS's and not newer versions, forget the rooted part just make it work on ICS FFS

    The modded one I got off there worked fine on my sgs2 on ics unrooted and also works fine on my sgs3 before i rooted it and then when rooted using rootkeeper as flik mentioned.

    I forgot there was another reason I'm not using it. Not runnning on ICS is a joke.

    You never know, they may pull their finger out for Jelly Bean... but I doubt it.


    Android has to be the most actively developed operating system at the moment and creating apps that can't keep up is stupid.
