Virgin Media Speed Upgrade

I finally got VM yesterday. Speed is perfect except the superhub. How shit is the range on that?

Interesting note, the VM engineer said they are doing 200-300MB trials at the moment. No idea if its true or not..

Yeah trials mean shit.... I was workin on the 8mb BT trials about 3 - 5 years before it appeared to customers....
Cant remember why but I had to test streams watchin Crimson Tide between cambridge - ipswich.... fookin hate that film now lol

i just got my upgrade the other day, bit of a strange one...........i had a 10meg connection which has now been upgraded to 30meg. the slightly dissappointing thing here is the download speed. when it was running as a 10meg connection i was getting the connection top out at 1.17mb/sec now its upgraded to 30meg the max speed i am getting for downloading is 1.47mb/sec not sure if this is right or if i need to contact VM and ask why my new connection speed isnt quite fast enough.

My max speed on 30 meg was 3.80mb/sec so deffo something wrong there mate

My 30MB - 60MB has been done and is working well. I'm getting download rates exceeding 7.0MB/sec.
