Attention Thailand for Xmas next year

    Hi guys,

Me and the Mrs are looking to go to Thailand for christmas and new year 2013, now we have absolutely no idea what we want to do other than visit the region, thinking of 14/15 days with the first part a sort of sight seeing trip and then a final week of relaxation at a resort or similar, i.e. we haven't got a clue

can anyone give us some ideas of where to go and where to stay, also how much do you think we should be saving for such a trip,
is £3,000 an acceptable amount for 2 people? just as a rough estimate?

im sure plenty of you have been out this way so please post some ideas and suggestions, everything will be appreciated

    thanks,
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

I'm off out next Wednesday. Haven't a clue really but am going to wing it. I'm taking £1500 for 2 weeks including accommodation.
    Recent Mac convert...

You could mix'n'match ideas from here http://www.travelfish.org/trip_planner plenty to see in Vietnam and the neighboring countries also.
To what Lou_smorals has mentioned, I would also recommend visiting Phi-Phi island.
“If I asked you to have sex with me, would the answer to that question be the same as the answer to this question?”

I went in February with my partner. Flights and accommodation cost 1,250 each for 14 nights. So 3,000GBP should be more than enough.

The cost broken down looked something like this:

Flights from Cyprus to Bangkok then Bangkok to Phuket.

Accommodation was spread across 4 areas.

Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Ao Nang and Bangkok.

Avoid Bangkok and better spend your days by the beaches.

    Thanks to cyprus
