    I was thinking more - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111181617297
But that takes the option of FPV away doesn't it?

Awesome. We are blessed here in North Wales with the valleys and mountains. I can just see a brilliant video on the A487 between Dolgellau and Minffordd looking towards the Tal Y Llyn lake, with the RAF valley jets flying by!

i can imagine some flights over many of the castles being magic too. Even Criccieth with Harleich in view over the sea. Just up the road from me is the Horse Shoe Pass in Llangollen. On a good weekend up there a video with the motorbikes out would be cracking! If you ever venture this way Belial I'd love to see the quad in action

Yeah that would be a superb one down that pass, as long as i didnt' crash it into a jet Definitley going to try to follow some cars and bikes now that I've got my FPV all setup though, that's on the list for when the weather improves, already done a flyby over Criccieth, but didn't get a video of it so will do that too. tried to fly to Porth Dinllaen today but the wind was way too strong when I got there, and doesn't look any better during the week at all

Porth Dinllaen is unique, with walking through the golf course to get to the beaches/cliffs. Very open to the wind pretty much all that side, even whistling sands is breezy. But theres quiet a bit to look at there. The iron man on top of Llanbeddrog would be pretty good. Not sure how the coasts have been affected by the bad weather this summer. Heard Abersoch beach has had problems!

Chasing cars/bikes couldn't be any better than the horse shoe pass. Hovering over the panderosa, then over the top by the twists and short straights; and towards the hairpin. Then a quick check in at Valle Crucis Abbey and Dinas Bran on the way home. I can easily see how addictive this would become!

I've flown up to the iron man a few times already (I live about 2 miles out of Llanbedrog) not much to look at from that side tbh, looks better when you're walking on the headland looking out. Yeah it's been a bit rough in Abersoch past couple of weeks, fotunatley it's all the silly priced tourist huts that suffered, and if you're silly enough to pay £100k for a wooden shed then you deserve a kick up the arse

I can see my credit card getting a flex very soon..

One thing you very quickly notice with the budget cameras - the shakes. And having the YouTube 'anti-shake' processing on just takes away the natural effect. When I saw that Hitachi price crash I was interested but a couple of vids on YouTube show you'd be disappointed with the results. No point doing these kind of videos with a budget cam.

Ive got a parrot ar drone (1st version) only flew it a couple of times and not bothered with it since as I find it too difficult to fly using an iphone but have now seen that Macgyver mod for it so might invest in that and see if it makes it a bit better - not really interested in HD camera quality only want it to hover near my neighbors windows.

I'm sure I saw a gopro type camera in an article in one of my cycling mags. It may have been Polaroid or something. They were raving about it because it was only £40 or something. I'll try and work out what it was and post it here.

Edit.. It seems it was only a 720p but I will confirm if I find the article

Not sure about one handed mate, can be automated with the right flight controller, gps and setting waypoints etc in the software.

What's the Naza lite like mate easy to set up?

I've bought the parts for a quad just need a receiver and to build it really.

I've gone for the KK2.1 flight controller from hobby king just based on reviews and ease of use really.
