QPR have signed Blackburn forward Junior Hoilett on a four-year deal.
The 22-year-old scored seven goals in 37 appearances last season as Rovers were relegated from the Premier League.
Hoilett was out of contract at Ewood Park but because he is under 24 Rangers will be required to pay compensation. If the pair cannot agree a fee for the Canadian it will go to tribunal.
"I'm really happy to be here and can't wait to pull on the Rangers shirt," he told QPR's official website.*
Hoilett becomes Mark Hughes's seventh signing of the close season, following deals for Rob Green, Ryan Nelsen, Fabio Da Silva, Ji-Sung Park, Samba Diakite and Andy Johnson.
Hughes said: "Junior is a player I know very well.
"He was just a young boy trying to make his way in the game when I had him at Blackburn. We knew then he was going to have a great future and he's shown he's a player of top quality and a player that can makes things happen, both on his own and as a team player."
Hoilett has previously spent time on loan at German sides Paderborn and St Pauli between 2007-2009 and Rangers fans will best remember him for his goal against the Hoops back in January 2011, in an FA Cup third round tie at Ewood Park which Rovers won 1-0.
Hughes added: "He's certainly a player who will enhance what we've got in the group and I am delighted he's chosen to come to us."
