I have always had a issue with sports that already have a huge world stage being involved like Tennis and Football, I also wonder if it's just me that gets fucked off with Equestrian always getting a prime time TV slot as it seems to me the old boy public school boy brigade decide what are main events rather than what the majority of the public would consider main events.

All that said I think it's now great you can hit the red button and watch the sport you are interested in rather than be force fed Zara scumbag Philips prancing round a ring.

For me the real Olympian was a normal person, someone that worked through the day and trained in the evening, someone who lived for that moment of glory and a gold medal, how the hell is tennis, golf etc, with all it's multi millionaire players in the olympics it's bollox, like everything else it's all about money nowadays.

Quite agree. Olypmic gold should be the highest achievement in the sport. Get rid of tennis & football and bring in, as suggested, Karate and netball (not sure about the others). I'd like to see target axe throwing in there, that would be a great sport to have. And balls to having golf in the Olympics (unless amateur only).

I agree about the Golf, Tennis etc, but I quite enjoyed the Handball I watched yesterday.

In my opinion none it's the shit that your retarded brother or sister could play where as other Non-Olympic sports I.e tenpin bowling require discipline ,mental strength,technique, power and consistency

The Judo and fencing have been my mainstay. The Italian women dominated and the blokes are nuts! Archery was a lot more watchable than I expected too. In fact it's funny how interesting some of these events I wouldn't normally care for have drawn me in.
