they really are great and im very impressed with mine, have some small issues with some HD content and the fact your can't play dvd's is a bit of a downer for someone like me who likes their DVD iso's but apart from that can't fault it, however once you have factored in all costs:
case - £10
Rasb Pi - £30
remote - £10
wireless dongle - £10
sd card - £5
usb cable for power £3
total £68 so its a little more expensive than initially thought if you need all the addons but of course you can replace the remote with the android remote etc. and use a wired connection rather than a wireless dongle, still a great little device for the money overall
also i have seen it stated that if you use the linux distribution for the Pi and use XBMC thought that rather than one of the dedicated builds it runs alot smoother but not tried this myself as i am quite happy with the RaspBmc installation i am currently running
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.
I am quite happy that mine can use the TV remote via Bravia Sync (HDMI CEC)
Once raspbmc RC4 come out with hardfp it should be faster as raspbian does.
