There are loads of labels out there on the market, which brand do you use and why?
I usually stick with phd whey protein, as always had it from when i was younger when i was training. Mostly have it via the powder and then add water.

I have cut dairy out of my diet so can no longer use the Whey protein I used to use. I now use Brown Rice Protein powder. It's very cheap, easy to digest and delivers a lot of protein. But... It doesn't mix well and is similar to a barium meal milkshake in consistency in my mouth. I don't flavour it, and it tastes fine. I get my protein from myprotein.

I get whey protein from my bros friend. I pay £25 for 5 kilos. Its what is supplied to the local gyms. I have 1 in the morning and 1 after i work out..

I used this in the past http://us.cpoliquin.com/product_p/wh...%20vanilla.htm
Mixed it with my breakfast e.g. Greek yogurt with muesli. I then started feeling bloated and stopped eating anything other than supplements, e.g. Omega 3, Zinc etc.
So, not suitable for me.

True whey in the morning and after a work out. I sometimes have the oats and whey bar for lunch if I'm on the move. Get it from MyProtein.
How about a positive LSD story? Would you like to see a positive LSD story on the news to hear what's it all about, perhaps? Wouldn't that be interesting just once?

I have a true mrp shake from my protein for breakfast and lunch and have some pure whey also from my protein with skimmed milk after a workout
I use impact whey protein from myprotein....
One after a workout and one last thing before bed, just curious why you chaps are having your protein drinks first thing in the morning?
I tend to have some form of protein in the morning but mix it up with carbs.
I always thought it was better to have protein 1st thing in the morning. I'm sure I read it somewhere.

MyProtein Unflavoured whey and flavdrops = best protein shakes I've ever tasted
First thing in the morning/as early as you can is reccomended because whilst asleep you have effectively been fasting for 6-10 hours (rough guide) so it is good to get some protein down your neck.
There is a scientific reason behind it, although at this present moment in time I can't remember what it is.
sod all the whey protein, its shite - just have a good diet
in terms of targeted protein, try some of the essential aminos
when i use protein i use:
l-glutamine (with creatine monohydrate)
BCAA (branched chain amino acids
l-leucine (also in BCAA)

I use PHD synergy iso
I have used myprotein's Imapct Whey (unflavoured) for years now and last year started taking the Bedtime Extreme (slow release). However since I have read some discussions on how the body is unable to absorb/use it all and it can lead to issues later in life I haven't touched the stuff. I have probably 7 kilos sitting at home.
To be fair since I stopped taking it approx. 4 months ago and made sure that I am getting adequate protein from my foods I have still put on some good bulk and maintained my muscle mass.
I take Creatine tablets, 3 before a 10km+ run and 3 after. Other than that simply Chicken etc
I remember looking in H&B once at the Whey stuff. Some woman went mad at me! Told me to keep off it as it will kill me. Pretty much what Roach is saying, it just sits in there and can cause problems later in life.
So now, other than the Creatine I take Cod Liver Oil, Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Multi Vitamins.
We all make mistakes sometimes
