I had one building a nest in the shed in late april, it was the size of a pingpong ball and not 3/4 finished, I shut the shed door and was thinking of some action to take when someone came and I forgot about it. 2 weeks later I remembered and thought "shit" its prob massive now and went to check, it was the same as I last saw it and no wasp in sight, only one I have spotted this year as well.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

No wasps here, but it looked like ants had dug up shit loads of the concrete from between the slabs. Yesterday I saw a massive (actually about 2 inch high and 8 inch wide) mound of sand/earth they had made but I it looks like the powder did the job by the time I got up.
