Dell vostro 200 help

Hi all I have been given a dell vostro 200 which switches itself n as son as I plug it in then switches off about 5 secs later. I hav tried changing all the cards , memory, disconnecting all the devices but still can't figure it out. If anyone has any ideas I would been eternally grateful.

have you checked to see if any capacitors have popped or bulging?

All the capacitors are perfect.

Do you get any beeps? It might be a faulty power switch on the case causing a short - remove the case connectors from the motherboard & briefly short the power switch pins.

It works fine once I take the front panal block off and manually connect the power switch. It could be a faulty switch as you say.
