Sorry, that's just a variant of the 16/8 fasting diet.

    16 hours fasting, 8 hours eating within a 24-hour period. I personally do 15 & 9 hours.

Eat pretty much as usual during your eating window. You still need to stay within the daily calorie intake you're aiming for - but essentially, if you're simply not eating during two thirds of the day, you're majorly minimising the risk of overeating. Your body also becomes more efficient has been my experience.

All I will say, is, again from my own experience, is that you need to time your meals and fasting perfectly so that your body really feels like it is burning fuel efficiently. If at any point you're so hungry that you're unwell, then that's a different story and your body will act negatively.

There's a fair amount on youtube about it if you're interested. Here's a video that I watched a few months back.

    Spoiler:

I'm now 18st and feel like a house

Im not able to do the whole gym scene as chemo fucked my knees and hips so working out is painful.
My only real option is eating healthy and it's been hard making good choices at the best of times and then theres chocolate.... FFS i love chocoloate
Dont tell my doctor though im prediabetic she would kick my ass.

I only drink the odd whiskey now and then so alcohol isnt a big thing for me either.
So i really need to find something that works for me.

Thanks mate, I was actually signed up to TeamRH last year, I like his videos and the approach, explained a lot about BMR/TDEE and intake for me.

What I struggled with is their plan is to eat you TDEE and let the fat loss come from exercise everyday. According to his plan, with my height and weight, I should be eating 3800 calories a day focusing on protein and fibre.

That's crazy consumption for me to eat everyday. I've found it far better for me eating around 500 calories under my TDEE with fasted cardio, 16:8 and 2 gym sessions a week.

I get what your saying and the theory sounds bonkers but does work.
I started off on 3250 calories and like you struggled but then after getting roasted and shamed a little in live videos I got my head out my ass and it all clicked.

Iím now on 2500 calories a day and itís still high but Iím in the zone and know what Iím doing.
I do the gym 4 times a week but thatís also my own choice.

Fair play, if that's what works, I think everyone has to understand their body and how their body reacts to food and calories, what works for one, might not work for the other.

As long as your in a caloric deficit, and eating balanced meals, you will lose weight, doesn't really matter how you get there .
