    Did this least year:

Considering how quickly the smartphone world moves these days, it might be interesting to see how people's preferences have changed?

So, which mobile OS do you use? If you have more than one phone, pick your favoured OS

I'm on iOS still, love the simplicity, jailbreaking gives me what most iOS users miss out on and I repair a lot of iPhones/iPads now so good to know the handset inside out. Would like to try Android a bit more but none of the handsets quite do it for me since the iPhone 4.

I've around the houses in the last year iPhone 4 > Galaxy S2 > HTC Titan (windows) > iPhone 4s and all I'm saying is that it's good to be back home. Can't wait for the iPhone 5.

I really wanted to like Android but for the life of me I couldn't get on with it, over the past year I've tried a windows phone whatever (on a blue nokia) and I hated it, email seemed broken and I didn't like all the squares, when will m$ realize a lot of us spend our days in a cubicle the last thing we want is a square os'd phone?

so basically im back on iOS and it seems to be the best of a bunch that could all be better

I have ben holding on to my htc tytn2 running windows mobile 6.x love the physical keyboard but my increased email use it has slowed down especially with the outlook update earlier in the year so I bought a lumia somthing with windows mobile 7.5 at the weekend to tide me over till mobile 8 comes out. its good very stable, missing the real keyboard and the ability to play with things and no tom tom on it Im not bothered about apps but want word and excel on there so im happy.

the only thing I liked about the nokia running the windows phone OS was the blue colour, I thought it looked brilliant, if apple were to dip into their own past it would be nice to get a colour selection like you could with the ipod mini and the shuffle/nano rather than just the black and white offerings. fair enough mine has had spent all its life in different cases and bumpers but it would be nice to get the choice without having to wrap my phone in stickers to give it a bit of colour. That said I found that a big downside the last android phone I tried there was just hardly any accessories that were specific to the phone so cases/bumpers were bought online same with screen protectors etc, sometimes you just want something there and then and with the iphone you get that, even if you dont get the worlds best hardware

I wanted one of them for ages. When I eventually got it about 12 months after it was released I was amazed at what I could do with it but the user experience I thought was terrible. As great as it techinically was, I think I ditched it after about 3 months as it drove me nuts.

I believe you can get bluetooth keyboards for modern mobiles but I haven't got one yet cos I'm broke.

I use android on my phone, have an ipod touch and I am planning to buy an ipad3, once the wedding debts are cleared.

I prefer Android on my phone but for my tablet I want an Ipad3 due to the screen specs and the apps available on the store.

I guess an OS is only as good as the apps you can run on it, forgetting the app advantage I find android far more interesting and flexible but I have always been the type of person to choose the underdog in the field.

I usually go through a trend of having one brand of phone. In the first have of the 90's it was motorolla and in the second half it was nokia. The naughties came along and for most of it I changed to sony ericson. For the last couple of years it has been samsung galaxy and sII. Never had an apple phone mainly due to costs though I did have a brief dalliance with a touch for about a year and it was cool. Got my mum an ipad3 and have to say if the new iphone comes out and is as good as the new s3 then when my contract is up in december I may just move over to the ios and see what that has been like.

Always had Nokia. Kept the N97 for a year now past it`s initial 12 month contract. My contract ends in 4 weeks and i am not sure which route to go. the lumnia has tethering nokia maps and all the ms goodies you need. I would like to dip my foot into andriod but i dont want to make the mistake as i will be in a 2 year contract. So i guess its like the old saying. "The devil you know".

Virginmedia are doing a lumnia 610 with unlimeited everything and 2500 minutes for £23 a month. I am looking at this very soon. then an 800 at Xmas for my partner. They will come down in price after the newer phones come out
