I bought a mic for my iPod touch years ago but never got round to using it as a VOIP phone. I can't see why many would use an iPod touch rather than adopt an iPhone, only reasons I can see are kids who do not need/aren't allowed a phone or employees who are stuck with a crappy work phone.
