Watching streams in UK not intended to be viewed

Hi,
Sometimes live sport streams are available to watch only if you're NOT in the UK, ie on betting sites. I'm thinking this would be possible using a proxy server but I have no idea how to do it.

Can anyone help me please?

If you grab a copy of the Newzbin Client from their website, this includes a copy of UltraSurf, giving you a US based IP.

Never tried it for video though, haven't had a chance to test the bandwidth limitations.

you can use a VPN but I dont know of any free ones that give you a non UK IP. VPN connections can be a little slow so not sure if they would fit the job either way. I have found that my VPN out here can handle sites like *cough* myfreecams most of the time, but occasionally you get a duff connection.

www.spotflux.com will give you a us vpn connection, speed aint bad
