I had another call from retentions, offered it free for 6 months, I've been disconnected for a few months now though.....

good news that they still offer free subs

ive had a 6month and a 4month free sub so far but it ran out about a month ago so just waiting for their call now!

I got a letter at the start of may a month after I had cancelled. Offer was 50% off any package for 12 months. I took this up. Today I have had a leaflet offering 50% off for 12 months and a phone call offering free for 6 months with no contract. Don't know why im so popular with them.

I phoned up and cancelled on 8th March they told me my last payment would be £19. So I was expecting to be charged £40 at the end of March and then £19 a week or so into April when it was switched off...

Well April came and went and my Sky is still on now. They charged me another £40 at the end of April so I've just phoned the bank and cancelled the direct debit instead.

They are still persisting with the 25% on me, I get one a week at least in the post now. They did call me a couple of weeks back to ask why I left...told them I wasn't very impressed to be only offered 50p a month off to stay when I was cancelling, after being a subscriber at full rate since the day they started charging for their packages, it was a bit of a kick in the teeth. It's ever so nice to be saving £65 a month though.
