Detail / Enhancement with GTechniq

Guys,

Just wanting to big up the work done on my car after a recent vandalization (f**king little scrotes!)

Anyhow, I went to a local company called 'Total Detailing International' and in 2 days he had my motor immaculate, inside and out. He uses all of the GTechniq range (http://gtechniq.com/main-page/), all of the 'swirls' on the paintwork from handwashing are gone, and nothing at all sticks to me now, brake dust, bird crap, water - it all just rolls off

The lad's name is Chris Whitehead, and he's really good at what he does. Just putting a good word forward in case anyone local to me needs work done - I highly recommend him.

£280 for inside and out, he's very thorough. Even my tailpipes have had all the carbon removed, they are chrome again

That's a bloody bargain. Wish I could get a similar price down here. I have the same car, but in Sea Grey

Can I ask how it was was vandalised?
My car was keyed (down to the primer I think) and I'm not sure what can be done to fix it apart from a costly respray (and then the possible nightmare of dodgy blown-in areas).

It could have been a lot worse for me... luckily it was only minor surface scuffing across my bonnet where they had ragged my windscreen wipers at 90 degrees to what they should be, and twisting the blades down their length just to add insult to injury. £45 for a new set of blades on top of the work done by TDI.

There has been a number of keying incidents where it got done too, so I thank my lucky stars.

As stated - that does sound a bargain. Think you'd be looking at at least £400 for that kind of job round here, if not more.

Waka if the scratch hasn't gone through to the metal it should be able to be machine polished out. Little John did mine when it got keyed. The ones that didn't go to the metal vanished. Improved it enough so that I haven't had it resprayed. Worth getting a quote from someone.
