Moving a server in the next few weeks.. Where I am movin to has Windows Server 2012 as an option.
Have been running 2008 r2 for years but wondered if this is a good opportunity to move to 2012 as I will have to re-install everything anyway..

Had a bit of a google but thought I would see wot you guys think..

I use MySQL, SQL Server, WebSitePanel, hmailserver... all the usuall stuff really.

    Thanks for any advice.

Default Dedi Server / Windiows Server Question...

    2012 is quite a big change, metro/Powershell. But 2008 r2 doesn't have that long a life left so I'd crack onto 2012.

Only thing to do is check if you are worried about app support.

Took me a while to get into 2012 but after a couple of weeks I like it.

Still prefer my Unix servers over Windows but that's just personal preference!
