      Default Light Fitting 'piece' help

      Hello all.

      As in another thread, I have recently moved into and 'old' house. My previous gaff's were new builds or conversions.
      The wife went out and purchased some shades for the lights in some of the rooms. I am used to spot lights but now we have gone back 20 years...
      The problem with the shades is that the hole is too big for the lamp holder.

      I am sure you can buy the piece that goes onto the lamp holder (replaces the usual black bit) but I just do not know what it is called and therefore cannot order any!!
      Any clues guys?

      its called a reducer ring, google "lamp shade reducer ring" think thats what you are after ;-)

      They are Ikea shades so they are guaranteed to be different..

      Buhahaha! Found some on Ebay and they specifically say to fit 'Ikea'
