    Default sky catch up tv

    hello everyone

I have just seen an advert for sky catch up tv and we have sky tv and broadband

the ad says you connect any router to the sky box and it'll work. I have my sky router upstairs away from the tv but i have an old sky router too

can i use two routers on one phone line and if so can i use a splitter in the adsl filter to put a line in the back of the tv router?

    thanks for any help

    Default sky catch up tv

If using catch up tv via sky (itv player, demand 5) you need a DRX890/895 box at the moment as I believe these are the only boxes enabled

The rest of the HD boxes will be active very soon.

Purchase a wireless dongle from Sky and away you go.

Yes they are being increased in price from £9.99 to £21.95 from the 26th Oct (UK only).

Reason is "Demand in the UK for connectors has exceeded our stock expectations. This is likely due to the launch of Catch Up TV. Itmeans that we need to try and level out demand to make sure that we can provide wireless connectors at the price of
£21.95 until further notice. Remember, this is still cheaper than the previous price of £60.00".

    There ya go.

That ones a bit cheaper and its what I use!

Its also powered by USB unlike the Sky one which requires a power supply!

Tossers sky, so I logged in late last night to buy a dongle, £10 and thought easy just add on to my account, oh no they want card payment, really wtf, this is my account! anyways missus got my card and now I miss out , oh well, home plugs will be more solid I reckon. (If something can sell for £10 then thats it price , I am not paying more for the same thing- sod em)
