system restore where is it ?

Can't seem to find it anywhere.

go to the top right corner of the screen, click search, type restore and click settings, there are a few options from restoring files to a complete system restore.

Great I'm still fucked then.

I want to go back to win 7 before i upgraded to 8 last night.

I've lost all my programmes/accounts and settings etc.

You'd have thought it would have just fucking imported them like upgrading from Vista to 7.

Pretty pissed off at this moment in time. No emails, no office etc.

I can't believe I'm the only one this has happened too and that there is no fucking solution to restore back to windows 7 with all previous data.

Pity you didn't do a drive image of your win7 installation first. To be honest I probably wouldn't have either. At least your experience will be a warning to others to create a disk image first just in case. (">

this wont help you get win 7 back but a quicker way to get to restore is windows key + w and just type system restore
